We at Budacast want to help keep the fires of passion burning for our favorite city by showing listeners the aspects of the Hungarian capital that we think make it an excellent place to live, visit, and hang out in.
In the short time that we've been producing Budacast, we've received international media attention and thousands of hits on our website. But hundreds more listeners can 'subscribe' to receive our free podcasts automatically through numerous podcast portals like iTunes, Yahoo! Podcasts, Podcast Bunker and Podfeed.net.

Our target audience

Budacast's audience consists of young and young-at-heart listeners who are fans of Budapest and Hungary, people who crave the city's arts & culture scene even when they're not here. These include visitors to Hungary, foreigners living in Hungary, and English-speaking Hungarians here and around the world.

Budacast is not just another webpage about Budapest. What you won't get

Budacast's focus is on arts & culture - we are not trying to be all things to all people like a lot of other websites about Budapest. Our advertisers' goods and services are in line with the profile of our show.
In practice, this means you will never see your ad next to that of a Budapest escort service or a Budapest casino, nor are you likely to see ads for the city's most posh restaurants or shops (although we'd welcome them if we thought they'd advertise with us!).
