Trends Taste & Travel with Captain Cy

This is a great podcast which relies upon the enthusiasm and professional delivery of its host, 'Captain Cy'. Cy has kind of a commercial radio delivery, but he is so upbeat that he really captures and keeps your attention, even if you're not particularly interested in one of the numerous topics in a single show.

The pace of the show is fast and varied with monologues from Cy and some well produced interviews with guests from the destinations he highlights.

Cy gives great descriptions of places he's been and things he's experienced. He talks about places to go, thinks to eat and drink and stuff to smoke (cigars that is), and does a great job of linking up information, for example, about travel to Belgium with info about Belgian beer.

Most of Cy's material may be on domestic travel destinations in the US, but he makes them interesting, and even though I probably don't really plan on going to any of them he just might be able to convince me.

Finally, Trends Taste & Travel gives a smidge of hope to podcasters who think they might have a shot at making some money with their shows: Cy actually has some advertisers for his show.
