Nyugati tér - on the terrace of the Skála Metro department store across from Nyugati train station
There's a new 'bad boy' in town. Take the tinted glass stairwell on the left side of the 70s-ugly Skála Metro department store up a couple of flights to meet him.
The Kópé terasz (roughly translated as 'bad boy terrace') is Budapest's latest rooftop club, which has an incredible view of Nyugati train station (the one built by Eiffel).
The crowd here is friendly and a bit bohemian. I immediately bumped into some old acquaintances on my first visit and the consensus is that the bad boy is good.
Drink prices are average for Budapest, with a korsó of beer running at more or less about 500 forints. Ladyfriend had a virgin pina colada, which cost 750.
While there is a DJ at the Kópé terasz, it seems like it's just a great place to talk and catch a nice breeze.
