Atypical Accent

Over the past several years English-speaking foreigners living in Budapest and other parts of Hungary have been keeping web journals or 'blogs' about their experiences living here, sometimes making observations about Hungarians and aspects of Hungarian society.

The author of one English-language blog in Hungary, a Hungarian, has made it his mission to monitor a number of Hungarian-language blogs and translate some of what he finds into English for non-Hungarian speaking readers around the world.

In the first of a monthly series I speak with Henrik Schneider, who is the author of the blog 'Hungarian Accent'. Henrik says he's trying to 'open up a window' to show the outside world what's going on here.
